Zany Zombies: Beginners Guide to Acting Like the Un-dead (Code:YS105)
What is the story behind zombies, vampires and werewolves? What would it take to act like a real zombie or vampire or werewolf? What if Shakespeare wrote a play about Zombies? Deepen your understanding of the acting craft and make-up techniques in this fun and interactive class. At the last class we will perform scenes from classic plays adapted for the undead. Fee includes your own stage make-up kit.

Join director Mark Hauck and a team of professional actors, text coaches and fight instructors for a theatrical challenge you won't soon forget. Shakespeare Boot Camp is an intense crash course in all things Shakespeare. Learn to read complex text like a pro, how to make the language come to life, how to sling a few Elizabethan insults and try your hand at a slapstick stage fight.Theater Teaching Staff:Public Theater teaching staff are professional actors, directors, playwrights and acting coaches trained to teach young artists. Our educational approach focuses on encouraging and challenging creative and artistic skills through age appropriate, hands-on experiences. We believe that the arts strengthen our sense of belonging, our ability to express meaning and our fundamental human need to create and discover. All Public Theater of Minnesota instructors participate in ongoing training and curriculum development under the direction of Mark Hauck.
